LIA 2019: McCann Worldgroup Philippines and GIGIL Make it to the Shortlist of London International Awards

LAS VEGAS – Two agencies from the Philippines have made it to the shortlists of the London International Awards: McCann Worldgroup Philippines for Pharmaceuticals and GIGIL for Health & Wellness.

Ideas Agency GIGIL’s viral campaign “Dr. Internet” has secured a spot in the shortlist under Health & Wellness category. The comedic film stars actor Pepe Herrera playing off multiple characters in a situation hypochondriacs know all-too-well—consulting Dr. Internet instead of a real doctor.



McCann Worldgroup Philippines shines their creative prowess with the radio campaign, “Life Inside of You,” for Johnson & Johnson Philippines. With the aim to educate Filipinos about intestinal worm infection, the work opens with a maternal voice talking about a life growing inside of you. Only to reveal that she is actually enumerating symptoms of intestinal worm infection and the damage it can cause if left untreated.
